Order in the matter of M/s. Tata Finance Limited

Shri V.K. Chopra, Whole Time Member, SEBI has passed an order dated January 11, 2008 in the matter of M/s. Tata Finance Limited restraining Shri D.S. Pendse, Mrs. Anuradha Pendse, Dr. Anjali Beke and M/s. Nalini Properties Pvt. Ltd. from accessing the securities market and prohibiting them from buying, selling or otherwise dealing or associating with the securities market in any manner whatsoever, for a period of five years.

M/s. Indian Emerging Company Investment Ltd. has been warned to be careful and not indulge in transactions in future which may be in violation of law.

The order comes into force with immediate effect. As Shri D.S. Pendse and M/s. Nalini Properties Pvt. Ltd have already been restrained from accessing the securities market for a period of two years vide an order dated December 28, 2007, the period of restraint under the order dated January 11, 2008 shall be computed from December 28, 2007.
