Consent Order against M/s. SPT Securities Limited, Member of NSE and Depositary Participant of NSDL
A Panel consisting of Whole Time Members, SEBI, Dr. T. C. Nair and Shri M. S. Sahoo has passed a consent order dated November 28, 2008 on the application submitted by M/s. SPT Securities Limited, in the matter of enquiry proceedings pending before SEBI against it for the violations observed during inspection of its books of accounts and other records for the period April 01, 2000 to September 30, 2002, in accordance with SEBI Circular dated April 20, 2007 for consent order. The applicant has remitted a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakh only) towards the settlement charges, in the matter.
The order shall come into force with immediate effect.
