SUSPENSION OF SHRI PRAMOD GUPTA,
MEMBER, VADODARA STOCK EXCHANGE
SECONDARY MARKET DEPT.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Pramod Gupta, member of Vadodara Stock Exchange, for one year with effect from January 1, 1998. He has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (1) of Regulation 26 & Regulation 27 SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for violation/contravention viz., indulging in price rigging, building up position in the scrip of Maa Leafin & Capitals Ltd., with a view to manipulate prices and consequential failure in payment of margin money.
 
Shri Pramod Gupta will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker from 1st January, 1998 till 31st December , 1998.
