SUSPENSION OF BROKER
 
SECONDARY MARKET DEPARTMENT

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended Shri Dinesh G. Ved, member of Sauhrashtra Kutch Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 180742519) for a period of six months. He has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for dealing with unregistered Sub-Brokers, not maintaining clear segregation between clients' funds and own funds, not maintaining document register, irregularities in issuance of contract notes and dealing in unofficial trading ring in Rajkot. 

Shri Dinesh G. Ved, member of Saurashtra Kutch Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from June 11, 1999 till December 10, 1999.
