The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended M/s Poise Securities & Exchange Ltd., member of National Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 230600833) for a period of one year. They have been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 for failure to maintain books and records as per the SEBI Regulations, irregularities in issuance of contract notes, charging excess brokerage, misuse of clients' accounts & funds, delay in delivery and payment to clients, indulged in fund based activities and not reporting off the floor transactions. 
 
M/s Poise Securities & Exchange Ltd., member of National Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from December 01, 1999 till November 30, 2000.
