The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has cancelled the registration of Shri Dindayal Kayan (Trade Name: M/s Ganputray Kayan & Co.), members of Calcutta Stock Exchange, with immediate effect. The registration has been cancelled in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992. 
 
The broker has been declared defaulter by the Calcutta Stock Exchange and ceased to be member of the Exchange. 
 
The Exchange is in process of auctioning the membership card of the broker. 
 
Shri Dindayal Kayan (Trade Name: M/s Ganputray Kayan & Co.) will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with immediate effect.
