The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide its Order dated September 27, 2002 has prohibited M/s Suman Motels Ltd. from accessing the capital market, including raising of funds from the capital market in any manner whatsoever, for a period of 5 years from the date of this order. Further, its concerned officials have been prohibited from operating in the capital market for a period of 5 years from the date of this Order. This entity has, interalia, failed to comply with the earlier Order dated July 19, 2002, of SEBI directing it to refund the money collected under the collective investment scheme(s) with returns due to the investors as per the terms of the offer within a period of one month from the date of the said Order.
