SUSPENSION OF CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION OF SUB-BROKER

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended the registration of M/s Agarwalla Securities Pvt. Ltd., Sub broker to Shri Sanjay Kumar Thard, member of Calcutta Stock Exchange for a period of six months.. The registration has been suspended in terms of Sub-Regulation (3) of Regulation 29 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Rules & Regulations, 1992. 

The penalty is imposed for not maintaining confirmation notes issued to clients, documents register, margin deposit book, proper client registration form, strict segregation between clients' funds and own funds and delay in transfer of securities from pool account to clients' account 

M/s Agarwalla Securities Pvt. Ltd., Sub broker to Shri Sanjay Kumar Thard, member of CSE will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Sub Broker with effect from November 13, 2002 till May 12, 2003.
