Suspension of Certificate of Registration of Broker

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended M/s Merry Sharefin Ltd., member of Ahmedabad Stock Exchange (SEBI Reg. No. INB 020684138) for period of one year. The penalty is imposed for not maintaining Order book, irregularities in issuance of contract notes, dealing with un-registered sub brokers, dealing as unregistered sub brokers, off-the-floor transactions not reported to Stock Exchange, irregularities in maintenance of client database, evasion of carry forward margin, not maintaining strict segregation between clients' funds and own funds and shares not transferred from pool account to client beneficiaries account within stipulated time 
 
M/s Merry Sharefin Ltd., member of Ahmedabad Stock Exchange will not be entitled to carry on the business as a Stock Broker with effect from December 27, 2002 till December 26, 2003
