Suspension of certificate of registration of M/s Shrikant G. Mantri, First Custodian Fund (India) Ltd., M/s Harvest Deal Securities

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has directed M/s Shrikant G. Mantri, member of BSE (SEBI Regn. No. INB 010028216), First Custodian Fund (India) Ltd., member of NSE (SEBI Regn. No. INB 230638130), M/s Harvest Deal Securities Ltd., member of BSE (SEBI Regn. No. INB 010985237) and the Proprietors/Directors of the above mentioned entities not to deal in securities till further orders. The penalty is imposed for issuing bogus contract notes, not accounting for the contract notes which they issued, delaying payments to the bank, entering into one sided transactions, giving late delivery of securities.
 
Accordingly, M/s Shrikant G. Mantri and its proprietor Shrikant G. Mantri, First Custodian Fund (India) Ltd. and its directors namely Mr. Surendra Kumar Banthia, Mr. Manish Banthia and Mr. Sushil Mantri, M/s Harvest Deal Securities Ltd. and its directors namely, Mr. Rajendra Kumar Banthia, Mrs. Saroj Banthia and Mr. Manish Banthia will not be entitled to deal in securities with effect from July 14, 2003 till further orders.
