Suspension of certificate of registration of M/s. DOOGAR & ASSOCIATES (Category -1 Merchant Banker) for the period of one month.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has suspended the certificate of registration of
M/s. DOOGAR & ASSOCIATES. (SEBI Reg. No.
INM000001188)) for a period of one (1) month with effect from October 17, 2003. The penalty is imposed for non –exercising due care and diligence in terms of Regulation 24(2),24(4) and 24(5) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of shares and takeovers)Regulation 1997 read with clauses 2 and 9 of the code of conduct as specified in schedule III of Regulation 13 of SEBI (Merchant Bankers) Regulations ,1992
M/s. DOOGAR & ASSOCIATES will not be entitled to carry on the business as Category No.1 Merchant Banker with effect from October 17,2003 till November 16, 2003
