PRESS RELEASE

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has vide its order dated August 20, 2003 restrained Sunil Kumar Kayan & Co., a member of The Calcutta Stock Exchange Association Limited (SEBI Regn. No. INB030668917), from buying, selling or dealing in securities in any manner, directly or indirectly, till further orders. 

SEBI has vide order dated December 09, 2003 passed confirmatory order confirming the above prohibition under section 11(4)(b) read with Section 11B of the SEBI Act, 1992.
