Order against Shri Ashok M. Chopra
The certificate of registration of Shri Ashok M. Chopra, Member – Madhya Pradesh Stock Exchange (Regn. No. INB 070163218) has been suspended for a period of seven days. The broker has been found guilty of violation of Code of Conduct contained in Regulation 7 of the SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-broker) Regulations, 1992 and Regulation 4 of SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices) Regulations, 1995 while dealing in the shares of The Dhar Textile Mills Ltd.
The order has been passed by Shri Madhukar, Whole Time Member, SEBI on December 20, 2005. This order shall come into force after 3 (three) weeks from the date of order.
