Order against M/s Patni Shares & Derivative Co., 

Shri Ashish Patni & Shri Ujwal Patni

Shri V K Chopra, Whole Time Member, SEBI has passed an order dated July 06, 2007 against M/s. Patni Shares & Derivative Co, Shri Ashish Patni and Shri Ujwal Patni, restraining them from buying, selling or dealing in the securities in any manner whatsoever for a period of two year for acting as un-registered sub-broker in contravention of section 12(1) of the SEBI Act, 1992 and Rule 3 of SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-brokers) Regulations, 1992. The order shall come into force with immediate effect.
