Order against M/s. D-Link (India) Ltd.
Dr. T.C.Nair, Whole Time Member, SEBI, has passed an order dated August 21, 2007 directing M/s. D-Link (India) Ltd. not to buy, sell or deal in securities, in any manner, directly or indirectly for a period of one month. It was observed that the company issued false/ misleading information regarding buy-back of shares without any intention to implement the same. Thus, the company had violated provisions of regulation 5(1)(a) of SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices relating to Securities Market) Regulations, 1995.
The order comes into force with immediate effect.
