Dr. T.C.Nair, Whole Time Member, SEBI has passed an order dated February 01, 2008 against M/s. M.P. Vora Shares & Securities Pvt. Ltd., Member of the Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. [SEBI Regn. No.: INB 011044139], in the matter of its dealings in the scrip of M/s. Ojas Technochem Products Ltd. during the period November 1999 to March 2000, censuring the broker to be cautious in its future dealings. It was observed that the broker had failed to exercise due skill, care and diligence by facilitating off-loading of unlisted shares. Further, the broker had also transacted on behalf of unregistered sub-broker.
