Consent Order on the application submitted by M/s. Ram Mohan Sarda
A Panel consisting of Whole Time Members. SEBI, Shri M.S. Sahoo and Dr. K.M. Abraham has passed a consent order dated December 03, 2009 on the consent application submitted by M/s. Ram Mohan Sarda, Member, Calcutta Stock Exchange Association Limited for violating the provisions of Regulation 4(2)(a), (e) and (o) of SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices Relating to Securities Market) Regulations, 2003 and Clause A(1), (2), (3), (4) and B(4)(a) of the Code of Conduct for stock brokers as stipulated under Regulation 7 of the SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 while dealing in the shares of S.T. Services Ltd. For settling the matter, the applicant, without admitting or denying the charges, has remitted a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) towards the terms of consent in the matter in addition to the suspension already undergone by the broker from September 29, 2005 to August 11, 2008.
