PERIOD OF COVERAGE
 
This website is not comprehensive and is being updated regularly as more data and data sources are being captured.
 
The approach to creation of this website has been to first identify and concentrate on some major regulatory bodies, who regulate entities that have public dealings/investments. As such, it was decided to start with the data from the Ministry Of Corporate Affairs, Securities and Exchange Board of India, SAT , Reserve Bank of India, National Housing Bank, BSE, NSE, NSDL and CDSL. In each of these cases, the initial cut-off date has been determined as 1 January 2000 or from such later date from which the data is available. The data preceding this period is either not available with the sources in a sharable format or we decided that we should first concentrate on the recent data. As time goes by, we will try to compile the data relating to the period prior to 1 January 2000.
 
For each data source, the period of coverage has been specifically mentioned.
