Orders against M/s. Ramaben Samani Finance Pvt. Ltd., Member of BSE
in the matter of M/s. AKL Soft & Infosys Ltd.and M/s. Gujrat Fiscon Ltd.
Dr. T.C.Nair, Whole Time Member, SEBI has passed an order dated June 22, 2007 suspending the Certificate of Registration of M/s. Ramaben Samani Finance Pvt. Ltd., Member of Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. (BSE) for a period of fifteen days for their dealing in the scrip of M/s. AKL Soft and Infosys Ltd. It was observed that the said broker had aided and abetted its client in manipulation of price of M/s. AKL Soft and Infosys Ltd. Moreover, it failed to exercise due skill and care while entering into such transactions.
Further, in a separate Order dated June 22, 2007 in the matter of M/s. Gujrat Fiscon Ltd., the Certificate of Registration of M/s. Ramaben Samani Finance Pvt. Ltd., Member of BSE has been suspended for a period of fifteen days.
These Orders will come into effect on expiry of 21 days from the date of the Orders. Further, the periods of suspension of Certificate of Registration would run concurrently.
